This Bay Area county is on a shutdown holdout


SAN MATEO (KRON) – San Mateo County remains a lockdown hold out… for the time being.

While other counties in the Bay Area have chosen to shutdown early, San Mateo has decided to follow state guidelines and will shutdown only when ICU capacity drops below 15 percent in the entire region.

Currently the Bay Area sits just about 17 percent capacity.
