To make the most out of Chien-Pao and succeed in the Salamence Tera Raid, you must know the best moveset and held item for this Pokémon. In addition, it is ideal for Chien-Pao to have an Ice Tera Type to double the power of its Ice-type STAB.
Chien-Pao’s Sword of Ruin allows its ruinous sword to lower the Defense stats of all Pokémon even those on its team, except itself, making it suitable for solo raids. Chien-Pao should also have Ice Spinner, its strongest Ice-type STAB move that allows it to cover its feet in thin ice and twirl around, slamming into the target.
