Nintendo is back with another collaboration. This time it’s with Freiberger Lebensmittel GmbH, a German frozen food brand, to create Mario-themed frozen pizzas. And finally, Waluigi is going to be a star.
According to a Nintendo Wire report, the Mario pizzas will come in two boxes with different toppings. The first will have Mario and Luigi on the box and come with chorizo, salami, and spicy Calabrian salami cubes. The other will feature their evil counterparts, Wario and Waluigi, on the cover, and the pizza will contain emmental, gorgonzola, mozzarella and red cheddar cheese.
Nintendo has kept Mario busy with other projects lately. It made him and his friends the face of the next Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios, which is set to open to the public on February 17, 2023. Meanwhile, The movie Super Mario Bros. in theaters April 7, 2023.
Mario pizzas will start hitting shelves on February 6 in Germany. Unfortunately, it is not known whether these Mario-themed pizzas will ever be available outside of Germany.
