Spencer said officers found several shell casings outside of an apartment in the center of the complex but didn’t find anyone injured inside of the apartment where the shooting apparently occurred.
Shortly after, a man in his 20’s was dropped off at a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound, police say.
That man later died. His identity will be released by the coroner’s office.
Spencer said the department is looking for the driver of the car that dropped the man off at the hospital, but couldn’t provide a description of the man or the car.
