Carson City road report for November 28 to December 4, 2022

Road report as of Wednesday. The following applies to Nov. 28-Dec. 4:

Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work

Caroline Street between Valley Street and Anderson Street will be closed, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.

Carson Street between 5th Street and Robinson Street will be closed, Friday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for a special event.

Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

U.S. 50 between Russell Way and Airport Road will have lane and shoulder closures in the eastbound direction, Monday-Friday, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for roadway and sidewalk reconstruction. Work zone speed limits will be reduced to 35 mph, and drivers should expect minor delays. Pedestrians must use existing crosswalks to detour to the north side of the street.

The following streets will have narrowed lanes and shoulder work between Nevada Street and Mountain Street, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Caroline Street, Robinson Street, Spear Street and Telegraph Street.

Anderson Street between Washington Street and Robinson Street will have narrowed lanes, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.

Arrowhead Drive between Technology Way and Lamotte Drive will have reduced lanes, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for utility work.

Burton Street between Peters Street and Stewart Street will have reduced lanes, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for utility work.

California Street between Industrial Park Drive and Colorado Street will have shoulder work, Monday-Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility work.

Colorado Street between California Street and Birch Street will have shoulder work, Monday-Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility work.

Curry Street between 5th Street and Musser Street will have narrowed lanes, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway improvements.

Dori Street between Sherman Lane and Catherine Circle will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Friday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. for utility work.

Dyer Lane from Northgate Lane to the cul-de-sac will have narrowed lanes, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for utility work.

Fairview Drive between California Street and Kansas Street will have reduced lanes, Monday-Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility work.

5th Street between Saliman Road and Warm Springs Road will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for utility work.

Hamilton Avenue between Bullion Drive and Belmont Avenue will have shoulder work, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for utility work.

Musser Street between Plaza Street and Stewart Street will have narrowed lanes, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.

Sheep Drive between Deer Run Road and Asphalt Drive will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for utility work.

Stewart Street between Telegraph Street and Musser Street will have lane reductions, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.
