NEW YORK CITY (WHEC) – New York Governor Kathy Hochul is holding a COVID-19 briefing in New York City, where she’s announced the lifting of the state’s indoor mask or vaccine mandate for businesses. It will expire Thursday. Mask requirements remain in place for many healthcare facilities.
We are not where we were in early December. New Yorkers did the right thing to get through the winter surge, and we can now lift the statewide mask-or-vaccine requirement for indoor businesses starting tomorrow.
