ABC does not yet have eyes on potential replacements for T.J. Holmes and Amy Robachdespite speculation ‘GMA3’ anchors are on the way out… TMZ has learned.
Network sources tell us that the honchos main goal is always to complete a full investigation to find out whether or not TJ and Amy’s relationship violated company protocols. They also review additional reports about affairs Holmes may have had while working at “GMA” – including one with an intern – and any potential problems there.
While some reports have speculated DeMarco Morgan – who has been in the ‘GMA 3′ office while TJ and Amy are on leave – has already been asked to fill Holmes’ place permanently, our network sources say that’s just not the case, and he doesn’t. is not currently “tested” to resume the position.
It is the same for Ally of Rhiannon, Gio Benitez and Stephanie Ramos — all of whom covered the show’s anchor desk in the absence of Amy and TJ.
We’re told that if and when ABC will seek to fill positions, it will be after the investigation is fully complete and Amy and TJ’s fates are decided.
TMZ broke the story…TJ and Amy have lawyer in recent weeks – Amy with Andrew Bretler and Holmes with Eric Georges — possibly take legal action against ABC.
We’re told that if the anchors are shown at the door, their lawyers are ready to sue and raise the issue of race — asking the network, “Has ABC ever used the morality or covenant clause? conduct to fire or discipline 2 consenting adults on equal terms when both were white?”
Of course, we’ve seen TJ and Amy go out and live their life as a couple since they got taken out of the air … spend the holidays together and even hang out the day before he filed for divorce his ex-wife.
