Actress Anne Heche hospitalized after car crash in LA home: reports – National

Actress Anne Heche reportedly suffered severe burns after his car hit a Los Angeles home Friday morning, according to several media.

According to a statement from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), “A solo passenger vehicle struck and came to a full stop in a 738 square foot, two-story home in the Mar Vista neighborhood, causing a structural compromise and a violent fire prior to LAFD arrival.

“Fifty-nine firefighters took 65 minutes to access, contain and completely extinguish the stubborn flames in the heavily damaged structure,” said the statement posted on their website.

The LAFD added that they rescued an adult woman found in the vehicle, who was taken to an area hospital in critical condition by LAFD paramedics.

The LAFD told Global News it could not provide more information about the woman involved in the incident for confidentiality reasons.

Media such as CNN, Los Angeles Times and CBS suggest the person involved was 53-year-old actress Anne Heche.

She is now in stable condition, a rep for the actor told People magazine.

Heche was driving a blue Mini Cooper at the time, according to local media.

Heche rose to prominence for his role in the soap opera Another worldwhich won him a Daytime Emmy Award and two Soap Opera Digest Awards.

Heche is also an Emmy nominated actress who received a Primetime Emmy nomination in 2004 for her role as Rowena Larson in Gracie’s Choice in the category “Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie”.

She is known as the former partner of American comedian and TV star Ellen DeGeneres.
