“One piece of advice my therapist gave me that was so helpful to me was [that] she just said ‘If you want to be on your A-game, maybe consider total sobriety'” Daryl started.
“I was like, ‘What the fuck! Of course I want to be on my A-game'” Daryl recalled. “It really triggered something in me that made me say, ‘OK, you know what? Even though weed isn’t really bad for me right now, I don’t need to keep testing it waiting to get bad or end up in a bad position. So let’s try this total sobriety thing.
Daryl also talked about how going to therapy made her journey to sobriety easier.
“I realize that being alone is kind of a trigger for me,” Daryl Explain. “I know now that when I’m alone to be ready for the little b–––h inside my head to be like, ‘Hey mate, it’s just us now. What are we going to do? ‘ And it’s huge to know that it’s happening instead of just going drinking and weeding.
Although he was able to quit smoking marijuana after discovering his triggers, Daryl admitted that it was not an easy process.
“The weed was my clutch,” Daryl said. “Going to an event or a concert, I’d be like, ‘Oh maybe I’m going to get a little stoned.'”
In a recent interview, Megane29 years old, talked about her and Darylit is plans to expand his family.
