Ryan Edwards is easily one of the worst dads in reality TV history.
For years, Teen Mom fans watched in horror Ryan abused various substanceswas repeatedly arrested and terrorized his eldest son.
The problem eventually got so bad that MTV fired Ryan and his familyapparently at the behest of her long-suffering ex, Maci Bookout.
Now, however, Edwards is set to return to the franchise that made him famous with an appearance on the reunion show Teen Mom: Family Reunion.

(It’s officially titled Teen Mom Family Reunion: Aftermath. Finding titles for all those spinoffs and specials must be a full-time job at MTV these days.)
And according to the show’s resident therapist, Dr. Cheyenne Bryant — known as Coach B to cast members — fans will be amazed at the amount of growth Ryan has undergone since his last public appearance.
“Ryan presented himself in a way that people have never seen him present himself,” Dr Bryant told British tabloid The Sun in a recent interview.

“I have to say the biggest growth should go to Maci, Ryan and Bentley,” Coach B continued.
“You know, they haven’t been able to co-parent in years and they don’t talk to each other.
“Bentley has been at the wit’s end, not really enjoying a healthy co-parenting relationship, and that has affected his relationship with his father.”

Dr. Bryant says viewers will likely be shocked at the amount of growth Ryan is showing these days.
She says that against all odds, Ryan and Maci were “able to really come up with a really beautiful medium of co-parenting.” And Bentley was also able to witness it and be a part of it, as well as Taylor.
Yeah, even Maci’s husband, Taylor McKinney, is cool with Ryan these days. Now that’s progress!

“[Ryan] a lot of work,” Coarch B said, adding:
“It’s one of my favorite sessions and one of my favorite scenes that we filmed because it was deep and it turned everyone off,” she continued.
“It was so beautiful to see Ryan in the space where he really wanted this relationship with Bentley and didn’t have the tools to do it, and extremely open to succeed. You know, ‘How can I do it? I want it so badly.'”

A production insider tells The Ashley’s Reality Roundup that Ryan seems like a changed man.
“Ryan gets very emotional during the segment,” a source says The Ashley.
“People have never seen Ryan like this before.”

So we’re guessing the family reunion reunion will contain some big surprises – thanks to a guy who wasn’t even on the show!
Hey, this may not have much to do with what fans have seen this season, but it’s sure to be a real crowd pleaser!
