brad pitt may not be the perfect parent, but friends rush to his rescue after his ex-wife Angelina Jolieclaimed he molested two of their children during the then-couple’s infamous brawl in 2016. A source close to the Oscar-winning actor mocked Jolie’s account of what happened in the private plane all those years ago, recounting RadarOnline.com that its history is “constantly evolving”.
A countersuit was filed Tuesday, claiming that Pitt ‘choked’ one of their six children and “punched” another in the face during the altercation, but an insider insisted his claims were not true.
“She keeps rehashing, revising and reimagining her description of an event that happened 6 years ago adding completely false information every time she fails to get what she wants. Her story is constantly evolving,” the source told RadarOnline.com.
As this outlet reported, the countersuit claimed that Pitt “grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her” before turning on the children who rushed to their mother’s aid. “At one point he poured beer on Jolie; at another he poured beer and red wine on the kids,” reads the filing obtained by Page Six.
“To get Jolie off her back, Pitt threw himself backwards into the seats of the plane, injuring Jolie in the back and elbow,” the filing continues. “The children rushed over and all bravely tried to protect each other. Before it was over, Pitt strangled one of the children and punched another in the face. Some of the kids begged Pitt to stop.
Our source pointed out that Pitt was investigated over Jolie’s accusations and no charges were ever brought against the father of six.
“She had the opportunity to share information with law enforcement who made the decision not to press charges following their investigation,” the source continued on RadarOnline.com. “She was fortunate to share this during the lengthy custody trial, which led to the judge awarding Pitt 50-50 custody following extensive observation and analysis by doctors, therapists and other experts.”
“She and her team go back to the same thing month after month with new and false information,” the source concluded.
Months ago, Jolie was identified as the “Jane Doe” who filed a lawsuit against the FBI, in which she questioned why the investigation into her ex for assault allegations had been closed.
The actress first claimed that an incident broke out between their eldest Maddox and the movie star on the plane during their fight. After an investigation, the FBI closed the case against Pitt. The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services also investigated Pitt for child abuse, and nothing came of it.
Jolie filed for divorce shortly after the incident. Pitt and his ex continued to fight for custody of their children and their famous vineyard after Jolie sold his shares without his approval.
