Body camera footage of Marshawn Lynch’s DUI arrest in Las Vegas shows him being physically removed from his vehicle.
Tuesday, former NFL player and Hall of Famer guaranteed Marshawn Lynch was arrested for driving under the influence in Las Vegas, Nevada. At the time of the arrest few details were released and it looked like a simple DUI. The arrest also seemed out of place for Marshawn who constantly preaches to be “intelligent” in your decision-making. Now authorities are releasing more details about the events that unfolded alongside the body camera footage.

According TMZ, police say an inebriated Lynch fell asleep and fell asleep while in custody while smelling of alcohol. At one point, officers said he claimed the vehicle he was driving was ‘stolen’ but never confirmed if this was true.
In the video, you can see that the GT500 Shelby Mustang is missing a front tire, and pavement markers led police to believe Lynch slammed into the curbs before the damaged car came to a stop.
Newly released body camera footage also shows the former NFL player being physically removed from his vehicle.
Marshawn attorneys Richard A. Schonfeld and David Z. Chesnoff have a different version of the incident, which they described in a statement.
“Marshawn has not been arrested for a DUI. On the contrary, the vehicle was safely parked and not in use. We are confident that when all the evidence is presented, it will not be a DUI under Nevada law. Marshawn appreciates and is grateful for everyone’s interest and support.
