Meghan McCain lets it all out and spills the tea. As we knew, things never went well between her and the former View co-hosts. But one person, in particular, rubbed the TV personality the wrong way, which ultimately led to her decision to quit the show.

Joy Behar was mean to McCain, and it all aired! On the day McCain returned to the show after maternity leave, Behar said she didn’t miss McCain.

McCain, 37, recalled on “The Commentary Magazine” podcast that Behar, 79, made him cry that day.

“I finally got back on the show, and the day I got back on the show, Joy Behar said on air, ‘nobody missed youWe didn’t miss you, you shouldn’t have come back.

She then added, “And I just…I started crying hysterically. Sorry gentlemen, I know, I started breastfeeding and I started crying.

After the show, she returned to her desk to vomit and call her brother, who convinced her it was time to quit the ABC show.

“I didn’t feel supported when I had my baby, and I didn’t feel supported coming back, and that’s ultimately it,” she added. “That’s why I left!”

McCain and Behar constantly went back and forth on the show, often arguing over politics. Since leaving the show in July 2021, McCain has opened up about her experience on The View. She had bad experiences with Behar and Whoopi Goldberg, 66.

The talk show’s conservative host said: “The thing about Whoopi, though, is that she’s so empowering in culture and TV, and once she turns on you, it can create unfathomable tension at the table”, in his audio memoir, “Bad Republican.

McCain was on The View for four years. It was recently announced that Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro will replace her on the ABC show.
