Congratulations! jerseyshore Star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his wife, Lauren Sorrentinowelcomed baby #2.
“We couldn’t be happier to announce the arrival of our adorable baby girl, Mia Bella Elizabeth Sorrentino. We appreciate everyone’s well wishes and are excited to begin this new chapter as a family of four,” said the couple in a statement to life and style on Wednesday January 25, one day after the arrival of their daughter.
Mike, 40, and Lauren, 38, are already parents to son Romeo, 21 months.
The couple – who married in 2018 – announced that they were expecting baby #2 in July 2022.
“We have an amazing announcement!! We are a growing family! Baby on the way. January 2023. God is good,” the MTV star shared via Instagram at the time.
Shortly after Mike’s announcement, his jerseyshore teammates took to social media to congratulate the couple.
“So so happy for you guys!!!” Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio written, while Jenni “Woww” Farley added, “Yasssssss.”
Before announcing her second pregnancy, Lauren said Way of life that Romeo is already friends with all the others jerseyshore children.

“We have the jerseyshore babies as often as we can, whether we are filming or not. Jenny lives literally a stone’s throw from us. So it’s really cute to see, you know, Meilani and Greyson with him,” she said at the time, referring to Jenni’s kids with her ex-husband, Roger Matthews. “They are all adorable. We love bringing them together. »
Mike and Lauren have been open about their love of parenthood on social media and on reality TV, while discussing the struggles they’ve faced. In November 2019, the New Jersey natives revealed that they had experienced a “heartbreaking” miscarriage.
“When I found out we were pregnant, I felt like that was why we had gone through all these challenges for years and it was our time and it was our blessing. It was hard. It was really hard,” the Laurens Cosmetics founder explained in an ABC interview at the time. “I didn’t want to hold that back. I wanted to share it with other people who were going through it and just be honest so I could sort of heal through the process.”
