After Paris, 41, set the record straight about her family plans with Carter, 41, the socialite attended the Hollywood Reporter Women in Entertainment Breakfast 2022 at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. While there, she gave an update on her relationship with Kathy, 63, talked about her embryos and teased her upcoming autobiography, Paris: The Memoir.
“We are fine,” said Paris entertainment tonight December 7. “I don’t know where she’s coming from with that. I was like, ‘Mom, I never even talked about this with you.’ So, I think she just got nervous during the interview and, you know, you just say things.
In November, Kathy told E! New his heart was broken because she knew that Paris had “tried and tried” to start a family. But on Wednesday, Paris said she and Carter never planned to welcome their first child together before. one year of marriage.
“We all have embryos waiting and ready, but we just wanted to have our first year of marriage just the two of us because I think you need it,” she explained. “If you rush the kids in a second, you won’t be able to enjoy this whole honeymoon year around the world.”
At the same event, Paris, who married Carter in November 2021, spoke to another outlet about how she and Carter, who shares a daughter with her ex Laura Bellizzistarted the IVF process amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We started doing it a few months later because the world was closed,” she said. PEOPLE. “We knew we wanted to start a family, and I thought, ‘Now is the perfect time. Usually I’m on a plane 250 days a year, and we’ll just store and prepare all the eggs, and we have tons of them waiting.
“I’m so happy,” Paris continued. “[Carter]is so kind and so loyal and sweet and funny and brilliant. He’s just my perfect person, and I adore him so much. He just makes me feel like a princess every day, and I’m so excited for our family starting next year.
Months ago, Paris discussed her family plans during an April episode of The Bellas Podcastsaying she would “love to have twins” and hopes to have “three or four” children in total.
Also during her interview with Entertainment Tonight, Paris opened up about her new memoir.
“I had just re-read it the other night going through the final edit and I was like, ‘Oh my god. There’s so much here that I never talked about with my sister [Nicky Hilton-Rothschild], my mom, like, none of my friends,” she shared. “So it’s just a really important story and things that I have [gone] through, and I hope when other girls read it, maybe they can get some advice on what to do or what not to do in life. I really thought it was time to really tell my real story.
