Paris Hilton is a mom for the first time. The 41-year-old socialite and Hilton hotel heiress welcomed a son with her husband Carter Reumthrough a substitute, PEOPLE reports.

In an interview with PEOPLE In December, Hilton discussed the couple’s plans to have a baby after they tied the knot late last year.
She said they started the in vitro fertilization (IVF) process at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021. Hilton has “tons” of eggs in stock for future babies.
“We started going and doing [IVF] like a few months because the world has been shut down,” she said PEOPLE. “We knew we wanted to start a family, and I thought, ‘Now is the perfect time. Usually I’m on a plane 250 days a year, and we’ll just store and prepare all the eggs, and we have tons of them waiting.
