Life on the run can be rough (and a bit gross).
It’s a lesson Natacha Lyonne‘s Charlie Cale learns from Poker face guest star and best supporting actress 2023 Oscar nominee—Hong Chau in E! News exclusive preview of episode 2 of the short story Peacock series.
Created by Knives out director Rian Johnson, the show follows Charlie – a woman who can tell when someone is lying – as she solves mysteries on the run. But life on the road comes with its own set of dangers, as the clip opens with Charlie cleaning blood from his shirt in a New Mexico gas station toilet.
But Charlie isn’t alone, as Chau’s character, Marge, comes out of a booth, to shamelessly fart in front of Charlie, explaining, “That’s what’s going on here.”
Things only get more price after Marge notices the bloody stain on Charlie’s shirt, to which Charlie remarks, “Laundry day.”
“Bleeding through your shirt by day. Gunshot wound by day,” Marge replies, but not before Charlie cuts her off, saying, “Go about your day at work.
