Randall Emmet and Ambyr Childer try to solve their legal problems.
The exes – who were married from 2009 to 2017 and share daughters London and Rylee together — were involved in a messy battle since last year, when Ambyr sought an emergency restraining order against him. But before things get even nastier between them, it looks like they’re finally trying to work things out outside of court.
According to Page 6 On Wednesday, court documents filed the day before revealed that Ambyr and Randall were due to be heard in their legal battle, but chose to postpone until Jan. 26 because they are “working on a settlement.” No further details have been given on this at this time – except that his current restraining order will remain in place until their hearing on Thursday.

In case you didn’t know, their legal dispute started when the You actress tried to get an emergency order in October. She claimed that the 51-year-old filmmaker and his lawyer, Ben Valencia, had exchanged “threatening” emails, including one in which the attorney wondered when they might “get that c**t out.” Ambyr revealed again Lala KentThe ex-fiancé was emotionally and physically abusive throughout their marriage, recalling how he “would put his hand around my neck and tell me I could never get away from him”.
Despite the shocking allegations against him, a judge denied the request for a temporary emergency order due to lack of evidence and the technicality of “confidential solicitor-client communication”. But two months later, Ambyr finally won a temporary restraining order against Randall after he alleged he was being investigated for “possible involvement in child exploitation and paedophilia”.
Ambyr claimed to have become aware of the investigation on December 6 after being “contacted by a special agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation request [her] questions about [Emmett’s] suspected of child exploitation and pedophilia. As a result, a judge granted his request for a restraining order — forcing The Irishman producer to “stay 100 yards” from Ambyr, his home, workplace and vehicle. However, an exception was made when they “briefly and peacefully” traded their children for court-ordered visitation.
If you thought your ex was being investigated for such heinous acts, would YOU let him see the kids? Like always??
Immediately after the pedophilia allegations, Randall issued a vehement denialsaying in a video posted on instagram:
“At this point the lies have been pushed so far. We spent the day getting confirmation because we knew this was all untrue the FBI never investigated me and is not investigating me because there is nothing to investigate .
