Soundarya Sharma was eliminated from the show last weekend. Many believe it was unfair to have her kicked out by roommates decision. In a candid chat with Bollywood Life, she tells us, “I’ve had an overwhelming journey, but I’ll always feel like I haven’t been voted out by the public votes. If I didn’t deserve it, why did the has the decision stood for the other contestants? But every journey must end and I’m an eternal optimist. What I say now won’t make any sense. But I feel that Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Shiv Thakare orchestrated this .
Speaking about the endless character assassination and bitch shaming she faced on the show, Soundarya said, “I was murdered the most by Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta. I would say that reflects your personality. It shows who they are.” She says she told Archana Gautam not to comment on people’s profession on the show. Soundarya Sharma tells us that she saw the music video where Priyanka Chahar Choudhary made fun of her with Shalin Bhanot, Tina Datta and Sreejita De. “I was appalled to see her in this discussion. But God bless them. This are complex people. I would say they are like trolls,” she says.
Speaking about Archana Gautam, she said, “I have no worries about people stealing my limelight. I never felt threatened by Archana Gautam. I only told her to be a good listener. Our bond is genuine and not made for convenience. We will be friends.” Commenting on the highly publicized love story of Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta, she said, “They are two mature individuals. They know what they are doing on the show. Now the whole world knows what they share. ” The model and actress is angry with the two. She says: “Shalin Bhanot is a weirdo. He said the most shitty things about me. Even Tina Datta. Yeh naa unke sanskaar main hai. I never ignored all that. There are people who laughed with him when he made such comments. Now they talk about female empowerment. Nobody stood up for me.
She says that Priyanka Chahar Choudhary is a selective Sacchai Ki Murat in the show. “She stuck to people talking nonsense. When Shiv Thakare brought up the issue of Gautam Vig, no one stood up for me. Inside, people when they say something about others, they want feed that narrative to the fans. But you can’t uplift yourself by dragging others down.” The actress says that now everyone will be talking about female empowerment, sexism and so on. “People who didn’t stand up for me, it reflects back on them. Now they need content to raise such issues on the show,” she concludes.
