American audiences will recognize four of Bravo’s Top Chef cooks. Buddha Lo was the Season 19 winner while the Season 13 alum Amar Santanaseason 16 Sara Bradley and Dawn Burrell from season 18 were each finalists in their respective years. Their contestants will come from different iterations of the show taking place in France, Brazil, Germany, Canada, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Spain, Thailand and the Middle East/North Africa.
None of the chefs are from the UK, which will make their challenges a little more difficult. Cooks will be tasked with giving their turn to iconic British staples from beef Wellington and biscuits to pub food and afternoon tea.

The cast must also impress a rotation of esteemed global culinary experts, including Gaggan Anand, Sam Bompas, Tom Brown, Jeremy Chan, Brett Graham, Max Halley, Adam Handling, Angela Hartnett, Graham Hornigold,Judy Joe, Asma Khan, Santiago Lastra, Greg Marchand, Claire Smith, Kirk Westaway, Andrew Wong and Paul A. Young. Chief Alain Ducasse also makes a rare appearance in the Season 20 finale.
Top Chef stars aren’t just looking for approval; they are playing for a jackpot. The winning chef will be crowned Top Chef World All-Star, take home $250,000, star in a feature film in Food & Wine and make an appearance at the 40th editionFood & Wine Classic in Aspen.
To handle the epic showdown, the reality series needs oversized episodes. Each slot will be one hour and 15 minutes.
