Now that Kylie Jenner announced that she and Travis Scott (real name: Jacques Bermon Webster II) are change the nickname of their son Wolf Webster, people are asking a huge question: what is the new name of her baby? Although the old keeping up with the Kardashians star hasn’t announced anything yet, fans have been spotting various clues and coming up with their theories.
Sister Kim Kardashian revealed during an April 15 appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan that Kylie is about to settle on her son’s nickname. “There’s a name floating around, but she really wants to make sure. It’s such a big decision, honestly. It’s the hardest thing in life to name a child.
After a Reddit the user has informed others of Kylie’s announcement on March 21 – who revealed that she and the “Goosebumps” rapper “didn’t really want [Wolf] was him” – social media commenters shared their thoughts on what the baby boy’s new name could be.
“I vote Jack. It was always meant to be Jacques,” one person said. “After the ‘To My Son’ video, there’s no way it’s not Jack,” another weighed in, referring to Kylie and Travis’ sincere youtube video dedicated to their child documenting their pregnancy journey.
Others pointed to the likelihood of the title, as it would match Travis’ birth name. “Since he was born on 02/02/2022 and [Travis is] Jacques II, I would go with Jaques Deuce,” another fan added, while several others cheered the idea and even introduced the French word “Deux” as a possible middle name.
Another big topic of conversation was Kylie’s ex-boyfriend Tammy Hembrowwho also has a son named Wolf and a daughter named Saskia.
“I think it’s because of Tammy Hembrow,” a Reddit user commented under Jacques fans. “That’s exactly why,” another person replied. “Everybody will deny that it’s [definitely] the reason why. She wouldn’t want to look like she was copying someone. She thought [people] wouldn’t notice.
Kylie and Tammy were close friends until February 2019 after reports surfaced claiming the blonde beauty had a fling with Kylie’s ex Tyga during his Australian tour in January of the same year. Kylie later ditched the Australian native on Instagram. Asked about their alleged connection, Tyga declined to comment, and reps for Tammy denied that she was romantically involved with the rapper at the time.
Aside from the coinciding nicknames, one user noted that they were “always rooted for Angel,” while the Kardashian Jenner family and a few famous friends unwittingly sparked rumors that Kylie named her son Angel after revealing his birth in a Feb. 6 Instagram post.
“Angel Pie”, mom Kris Jenner commented on the black and white photo. “I can’t wait to meet the little angel,” Ariel Tejada, Kylie’s makeup artist, wrote. “Angel Baby”, the Kylie’s life alum’s best friend Stassie Karanikolaou added.
Not only have commenters fueled the ~angelic~ speculation, but Kylie even wrote “Angel baby” on an embroidery loom at her baby shower, which took place on Jan. 14.
On July 23, Kylie posted a ICT Tac video showing only her baby boy’s tiny feet as she walked to their garden, which included a sign that read ‘Sage’. Fans took this as a hint at her son’s new name and took to the comment sections to share their thoughts.
“Wise is the name???” a user wrote. “Two S. Stormi and Sage,” replied another, while a third added, “That’s what I thought, so I came to the comments to see who else thought the same.
However, many others pointed out that the name they read was likely just an indication of their garden, as Kylie pointed the camera at a second sign after ‘Sage’ which read ‘Curly Kale’.
In August, new theories about the name of Kylie and Travis’ son hit the internet! “A clue what Kylie ended up naming her baby?” asked a fan during a Q&A with DeuxMoi. “Yes, I heard a name, but I don’t know if it’s confirmed. Depending on how she spells it, the name can either be an adjective or a noun,” the account replied.
August 10, Corey Gamble sparked speculation that the baby’s name is Rav when he mentioned the name in Kylie’s birthday tribute post. “Happppppy B day to one of his own. To my ace who has always supported me here in these trenches of life…. Thanks @KylieJenner,” he wrote. “Big love HBD. & Thank you for everything & my beautiful little babies! Rav what’s up… ha.
Shortly after Kris’ boyfriend shared the birthday tribute post, fans took to social media to share their theories.
“He mentioned Rav. Who is Rav? I immediately thought it had something to do with the name of the little old baby,” one person wrote. Another admitted: “For a second I thought they were calling the son Rav.
However, others have noted that Rav may be Corey’s nickname for Travis.
Kylie continued to tease her son’s name when she appeared to reveal the nickname to a superfan at a Kylie Cosmetics new product launch party on August 24.
During the event, Foal Paulsen took to Instagram to share a clip of Kylie whispering in her ear. “Kylie Jenner told me the name,” the screen read as the reality star covered her mouth to conceal the secret.
Kylie also appeared to share another clue to her son’s mysterious nickname when she sang “rise and shine” at Colt’s request. The mother of two has already gone viral in 2019 when she sang the sentence to Stormi.
In response to Kylie’s re-enactment of the viral clip, fans rushed to the post’s comments section to speculate on the baby’s name. “His name is Sunny lol. Rise and shine!” one person wrote. However, another social media user guessed the baby’s name was Knight.
While the The TV personality has revealed she didn’t legally change her son’s name while appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden with Kris on September 8fans were convinced that Khloe Kardashiandaughter, True Thompson, slipped in the season 2 premiere of The Kardashians.
“Hi, Snowy! True said on FaceTime as her mom introduced her to her new baby brother. “His name is not Snowy,” the Good American founder quickly corrected. Fans quickly concluded that 4-year-old True mistook the newborn for her cousin, Kylie’s son.
“She associates the little brother with Kylie’s baby since he was just born!” a fan wrote below the clip shared via ICT Tac. “It literally makes so much sense. When my baby was born my niece literally thought it was her little sister and called her name,” added another, supporting the theory.
During his conversation with James CordonKylie revealed that they “have not officially, legally changed the name.
“It’s still Wolf, his passport is still Wolf. But that won’t be his name. We’re just waiting” she added.
However, nothing has been confirmed… or denied!
