DTEK suspects that information about the degree of damage to energy facilities is being passed on to the enemy by people on the ground
According to the executive director of DTEK, Dmytro Sakharuk, a lot of information was available on the Internet even before the war. Many people worked in the Ukrainian energy industry and studied in Ukraine, and now work in Russia. Therefore, it is not difficult to find someone who knows how our energy system works.
“The only thing I think is using the information from the scene to understand what damage was caused. I think people are working on the spot, watching and maybe taking pictures or just verbally reporting what happened. Because those objects that were not finished, excuse the slang, are the objects of subsequent attacks”.
