The capital of Lithuania – Vilnius received the title of “City of Savior” from Ukraine
“For demonstrated humanity, mercy and solidarity, as well as significant support for Ukraine in the defense of its independence and sovereignty,” says the presidential decree.
*”Savior City” is an honorary title founded by Vladimir Zelensky in May 2022. Since then, it has also been received by the Polish cities of Rzeszów and Przemyśl, as well as the Czech Prague.
