“We have problems with non-working generation facilities on the Left Bank, which do not produce enough, or do not work at all due to destruction, which before the war, let’s say, was a source of power for the Left Bank. Therefore, we are trying to increase the power that is redistributed to the Left Bank. We have reduced the deficit, but it is still there. I think it should be a little better today. 2-3 days and maybe we will be able to increase the amount of power for the Left Bank. Plus we are warming up, plus it’s a day off. Maybe it will be easier on the weekend,” Saharuk said.
According to him, the task on the Left Bank is to reach the same shutdown schedules as on the Right Bank.
“It’s four hours after five. This task is to output the same graphs for the left bank. This requires not only the restoration of networks and redistribution, which we are currently engaged in, but also the restoration of generation on the Left Bank. Plus raising the level of generation at working facilities that are already working on the Left Bank,” Saharuk said.
He believes that it is not a matter of days, but weeks, that it takes to recover.
“It’s not a matter of days, but weeks, that it takes to recover. Regarding the increase in capacity, I think it can be solved quite quickly. And for this, it is necessary to unite both local authorities and generating capacities. I think it is quite possible”, – noted Sakharuk.
